1. For me, the impulse to blog is a little of #2 and #3 combined. Since my blog is about traveling to and visiting breweries and brewpubs, I’m relating memories of the places and hopefully getting people to visit them. If someone is into one of the more popular craft beer brands out there, but doesn’t really branch out, I try to nudge them into visiting one of the great, lesser known, and often times smaller breweries who don’t distribute.

   I agree about Untappd, next to my Moleskine notebook, it’s a great way to remember what you’ve consumed.

2. Keeping track of what I’m doing is my main reason… I have a pretty bad memory… even with the blog i still forget, but it has definitely helped…
