Beer bloggers conference…almost time!

Beer bloggers conference…almost time!

BBC AttendeeIt’s officially one month until the 2013 Beer Bloggers Conference in Boston. Woohoo!!!

Already I’m feeling apprehensive about the flight. I always get nervous before flying. Booked a rednight flight so I can catch some Zzzs. And I’m anxious about the timeline that night: Close shop at 8PM, flight leaves at 11. That’s a bit tight. May have to adjust store hours or get someone to cover closing.

Excited for the conference.

It’s my mini vacation, a working vacation but a vacation all the same. Yay!

This will be my first time visiting Boston.

In fact, my first time in Massachusetts.

(And my first time flying JetBlue.)

It’s gonna be too short, but a short working vacation is better than zero time away for some R&R.

Samuel Adams

We’ll be visiting Harpoon Brewery and Samuel Adams.

Sam Adams is the largest craft brewer in the USA. They’re owned by Boston Beer Company, who also owns Angry Orchard ciders.

I don’t know much about Harpoon since their beers don’t ship this far West.

Because this year’s conference is on the East Coast, likely there’ll be a lot of regional beer I’m totally unfamiliar with. Should be a good tasting time. Looking forward to trying all the beers, seeing fellow beer lovers-bloggers, and having room service for breakfast. Yep, room service for breakfast before a long day of drinking delicious craft beer. Beer lovers paradise!

  1. I’m looking forward to the trip as well! Even a few days away from the grind to reboot and see over 100 of my favorite people is enough these days. As much as I loved showcasing my city last year, I can’t wait to be a tourist and go along for the ride. 🙂
